Watseka, Ill. - Mary Louise Murphy, 68, of Watseka, passed away on Monday, November 5, 2012 at Riverside Hospital in Kankakee, Illinois.

She was born on August 4, 1944 in Moline, Illinois the daughter of Carl Blade and Mildred Gillen.

Mrs. Murphy was a teacher as well as a real estate agent. She was a member of the realtor’s Association and enjoyed crafts and sports.

Surviving Mrs. Murphy is her son, Andrew Fisher of Seaton, Illinois; step-sons and daughter-in-law, Tom and Jocelyne of Des Moines, Iowa, Dan Murphy of Warsaw, Indiana, and Mike and Mary Murphy of South Carolina; one daughter, Erica Fisher of Watseka, Illinois; step-daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Greg Geerdes Murphy of Iowa City, Iowa; brother and sister-in-law, Tom and Kathie Blade of Moline, Illinois; 14 grandchildren, Ian, Collin, Aidan, Jonas, Jim, John, Jude, Katherine, Tyler, Kaitlin, Mark, Sheila, Paul, and Gracie Lynn; and many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Murphy was preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Pat Murphy.

Visitation for Mrs. Murphy will be held, Friday, November 9, 2012 at the Baier Funeral Home, Watseka, Illinois from 11-1 pm.

Funeral Service for Mrs. Murphy will be held, Friday, November 9, 2012 at the Baier Funeral Home, Watseka, Illinois at 1 pm with Reverend Hubert Lytle and pastor Ben stone officiating.

Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, in Watseka, Illinois.

Memorials may be made to the Ronald McDonald House and IMH Hospice.
