Services for Carlos Degryse, 51, of 1205-11th St Moline, were at VanHoe Funeral Home Ltd, East Moline. Burial was in the National Cemetery, Arsenal Island.
A visitation was held and a memorial fund was established.

He was born May 6, 1944, in Belgium, the son of Laurent and Angela Daemelinck Degryse.

He was a Vietnam War Navy veteran.
He was a member of the East End Club, Moline.
He enjoyed golfing.
At the time of his passing, survivors included daughters, Lisa Degryse and Claudine Krcmar, both of Moline; a stepdaughter, Liz Ellis, Gillespie, IL; a grandchild ; and brothers Roland Degryse and Andre Degryse, both of Moline.
