EAST MOLINE -- Thomas R. Dodds, East Moline, died Sunday, July 9, 2006, at Genesis Medical Center-Illini Campus, Silvis. Visitation is 4-7 p.m. Wednesday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Rose Lawn Memorial Estate, Moline, where the East Moline American Legion Post 227 will conduct military honors. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society. Tom was born February 17, 1944, in Davenport, the son of Clyde and Kay (Luttrell) Dodds. He married Sandy Buller, June 24, 1967, in Moline. Tom served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, being with his family and the companionship of his dog, Patches. Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Sandy; daughter and son-in-law, Dawn and Mike Wolf, Milan; son, David Dodds, East Moline; grandchildren, Riley Dodds, Michael Wolf and Blake Wolf; his mother, Kay Dodds, East Moline; and sisters, Jackie Debowski, Frisco, Texas, and Mary Evans, Rock Island.
