The following information was provided by Larry's brother, Darrel:

Larry passed away suddenly of a heart attack in his home in Silvis, Illinois, on 06 April 1987. He was 42 years old and single. He was born on September 26, 1944, in Moline, Illinois, the son of Raymond and Angela Hagberg. He attended Black Hawk College and enjoyed reading and music. Larry was an independent accountant and served many small businesses. He was outgoing and well liked by everyone. He was preceded in death by his parents. His oldest brother, Charles DePaepe, passed way in 2002. Survivors include his brother, Darrel Hagberg, sister, Patricia Kenney, sister-in-law, Betty Hagberg, brother-in-law, Daryl Kenney, along with many nieces and nephews. Larry is missed everyday by family who loved him very much.
