Jane was one of the sweetest, kindest gals I ever knew and I consider it a privilege to have called her a dear friend. We shared 3 yrs. at Coal Valley Jr. High and 3 yrs. at MHS before she married her childhood sweetheart, David Barr. We lost track of each other over the years, so I didn't realize she had passed away. We had a fun overnight stay at her house, one of the 2 I ever had in my lifetime - the other at Linda Loftin's home after the train trip to Chicago as 9th graders. Jane was smart, cute, and a true friend to everyone. This is a loss to the world!
