Jill Morgan's sister, Liz, informed Woodie Acord that Jill passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2026 in her home in New York.

Jill's passing brings great saddness. After a wonderful experience at Moline high school Jill and I met a few times freshman year at college in Massachusetts where we both went to single sex schools. This was a comforting relationship and continued the continuity of life. One of my fond memories of Jill in high school was when we had some guys on the swim team who were in a musical number with the sychonized swim team of which Jill was a part.. During the number Jill slid off my hands into the water . My embarrassment helpd me learn to hold my breath under water much longer than before the number.. Jill wasd a talented wonderful person who, I'm embarrassed to say, we never kept in touch after college. Fond memories of a wonderful person. Lew.
I'm so sorry to learn of Jill's passing. Years ago I reached out to her because I was always behind her in alphabetical lines and wondered how she was doing. I also asked her if she ever cut her long hair (which she had!)
