Transfer student from Morton High (Berwyn-Cicero; home school of Al Capone--who was in Eastern State Prison here in Philly later) for Jr.-Sr. years. Had parts in plays at Moline. Began work in post office in Rock island Sr. year to pay undergraduate tuition (Augustana)-- to go on for master's degrees (Penn State University and University of Chicago).
Since 1966 had internships in Philadelphia, Greenville (SC); 1968- community and maximum security mental health management positions -2010. Health planner & VP United Way; officer professional organizations PA-NJ.

May 2014 - marriage equality has finally arrived in Pennsylvania!
I run support groups for a variety of retired men in Princeton, New Jersey.
Also run support/discussion groups for gays and lesbians in tri-state area and volunteer at educational support foundation for the blind and dyslexic ("Learning Ally"). Huge para-farming projects and teaching at local gym.
My, things certainly changed once I left the Midwest. ??????
