I slapped him across the face.
Tony and I were classmates from 5th grade to graduation. I once asked him to a dance. His mother and Tony picked me up and my dad drove us home. Later, I think it happened on the Coolidge lawn, I dramatically stapped him across the face (can't remember why and I'm think I was in my dramatic mode: I had seen a leading lady in a movie do that!) Later, much later, at a reunion, Tony remembered me and the slap!
According to our senior yearbook, Tony (who was listed by his given name of Wilton) was active in the followiing things during his time at MHS. Hopefully, Phil Nissen, you'll be able to say, "Oh, that's where I remember him from!" I agree that Tony was a well-mannered and well-liked guy.
